Once a month, you will meet your friends in a home, cafe or other venue to discuss a prescribed topic in the book, at the same time other groups around your city, country and the world are meeting to discuss the same topic in the Girltalk book.
You can see those other groups and share discussions, ideas and photos on the the Girltalk Book Club on Facebook. You can also post feedback and questions on the author.
Lots of girls are talking about the Girltalk book. Here is what some have said:
“Congratulations on writing such a stunning book. You have given us the nitty-gritty of life and really promote values we all want our lives to be based on. Your book comes across as genuine, honest, straightforward and practical. Every woman who picks it up will get lots out of it” - Lindy
“Some chapters I have read several times already. Many chapters resonate for me. Thank you for becoming one of my teachers through the pages of your book and thank you for not coming across as ‘perfect’” - Jean
This Month's Topic
November 2011 - The Power of Beautiful Expression
Heather says "Beautiful words will open the heart of the one who reads or hears them".
Women are naturally gifted with the ability to express themselves beautifully in many ways. Our expression is not limited to words, but words are the most obvious form of expression. However a look, a smile, a touch, a song, a piece of art, our fragrance, our conduct etc this is all forms of expression that make up who you are and what people remember us by.
I personally like the Beautiful Expression of words written or verbal. We have the opportunity to change the atmosphere in a room instantly by just a few words that give light and life. Beautiful words also have the ability to bring freedom into ones soul.
Words have the ability to change the confidence level of another person by encouraging them and edifying them. Helping them to believe in themselves. Deep down every person has a desire to do this for others.
Expressing yourself beautifully not only is a gift to those who receive them but just as importantly it can be a gift to yourself.
Words expressed from a pure heart intention can transform lives and change the heart intention of others.
